  1. Stir altogether except for the canned vegetables,(tomatoes are the exception, those need to cook all day for flavor & never drain those!)… WARNING: this NOT something I'd leave unattended all day, rice is funny that way

  3. Turn down to low for the next 2 hours
  4. Now add canned vegetables; drained & cook until hot enough, I'd give it another hour
